About the Living Room Tour

In an effort to make more lasting connections with their fanbase, the Milwaukees want to play in your living room/apartment/dorm room. Shows are of the acoustic duo variety. No microphones, no stage, no crappy opening bands, just you, 20 or so of your closest friends, and the Milwaukees. The band has already performed in houses and apartments in Boston, Chicago, Indianapolis, Springfield, Vernon, and more.

The Living Room Tour FAQ

Do I have to pay the band?
No, you simply have to allow the band to sell their CDs and t-shirts at the show. If the band has traveled a significant distance, it’d be nice if you could set us up with a place to crash (we don’t require much more than a roof). If you want to charge party-goers to get in and give any or all of that money to the band we certainly won’t turn it down. Or if you simply want to pass a tip jar, that will work too.

Do I need to have a PA System?
No. No mics, no PA. Just our guitars and our voices.

Will I be evicted from my apartment/house or fined by the police for a noise violation?
No. There will be no drums and little amplification so performances will be at a reasonable volume.

Will you play requests?
We will try. You are more likely to get what you want if you are requesting a Milwaukees song, but if you request an interesting cover, we’ll consider it.

I live really, really far away. Will you still play my living room?
Try us. We like to travel. Who knows? Mostly we are looking to stay in the Mid-Atlantic/New England area. However, if we can’t get to you immediately, we might be able to fit you in next time we tour in your area. We’d love to hear from you, so give us a try.

Will I be the coolest person in my school/town/city if I book the Milwaukees in my living room?
In a word, yes.
